RETURN TO THE WOODSTOCK SQUARE
 
06/11/2025, Woodstock, IL: The City of Woodstock is proud to announce the return of its beloved Park in the Square summer series, offering FREE family-friendly events and entertainment throughout the season. From live music and movies under the stars to theater, crafts, and community fun, the Historic Woodstock Square is once again your destination for unforgettable summer memories.
 
WOODSTOCK CITY BAND CONCERTS
Dates: Every Wednesday from June 4 to July 23, 2025
Time: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Details: The Woodstock City Band returns to the Park on the Square for another season of timeless tunes, community spirit, and FREE ICE CREAM! Each concert features a short intermission and is partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council Agency.
 
MOVIES IN THE PARK
Dates: Thursdays from June 12 – July 24
·         6/12: Moana 2
·         6/19: 101 Dalmatians
·         6/26: Kung Fu Panda
·         7/10: The Muppet Movie
·         7/17: Zootopia
·         7/24: The Wild Robot
Time: Activities begin at 7:00 PM. Movie begins at Dusk
Description: Grab your blankets, lawn chairs, and favorite snacks, it’s time for a magical night under the stars! Thank you to Automated Outdoor Solutions for sponsoring this season of Movies in the Park. This event is free and open to all!
 
FAMILY FUN DAY
Date: Sunday, June 22, 2025
Time: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Details: Don’t miss this FREE day of excitement for kids and families! Enjoy a petting zoo, trackless kiddie train, balloon animals, inflatables, crafts, bingo, and more, all in the heart of the Woodstock Square. Food and treats will be available for purchase, including Kona Ice and delicious meal deals.
 
SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARK presents “A Bit O’ The Bard: Something Wicked”
Date: Saturdays: July 26, August 2, 9
Time: 6:00 – 7:30 PM
Details: Woodstock Shakespeare Players are back with an all new, original mashup of Shakespeare, sketch comedy, music, puppetry, and stage combat in “A BIT O’ THE BARD: SOMETHING WICKED”. Performing in the Woodstock Square, it’s FREE fun for the entire family, with face painting for the little ones. Performances run approximately 90 minutes.
