Event Description:

Woodstock Groundhog Day 5K Race will take place in Woodstock, Illinois. This chip-timed, USATF certified 5K race has become a fun and festive community tradition, celebrating the spirit of Groundhog Day while supporting a great cause — Woodstock High School athletics.

Run through Woodstock and go past some of the places in the movie. Run past the bowling alley, piano teacher’s house, movie theater and Pennsylvanian Hotel. This event is being put on by the Woodstock High School Backers Club.

*Participants are welcome to run or walk, but the “street course” will only be protected for 50 minutes. After this time all participants will be asked to move to the sidewalk.
