Event Description:
JourneyCare’s Annual Duck Race and Pool Party is on Saturday, August 10 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Aqualusion Water Park in Langendorf Park, 235 Lions Drive, Barrington. Take part in this free family event that includes open swim and splash pad, games and activities, entertainment by Bob the DJ, 50/50 drawing, six duck races and 36 prizes. Participants can adopt ducks and cheer them on as they race down the water slide to the finish! Each plastic duck is numbered, and the winning ducks will be announced after each race. Winners do not need to be present to win. The cost is $5 to adopt one duck; $25 for a duck family of six; $100 for a flock of 25: $25 for a 50/50 raffle ticket or $100 for five raffle tickets. Proceeds benefit JourneyCare’s All About Kids program. Adopt a duck online at journeycare.org/duck.
