Join Amelia Cotter for an exploration of some of Chicago's most haunted places. Amelia will share her personal paranormal experiences from around the city of Chicago and beyond, and chat a bit about the history and mysteries of the beautiful town of Woodstock, Illinois (Presentation will include photos) Amelia Cotter is an author, poet, and storyteller with a special interest in the supernatural, history, and folklore. Her books include Where the Party Never Ended: Ghosts of the Old Baraboo Inn, This House: The True Story of a Girl and a Ghost, Maryland Ghosts: Paranormal Encounters in the Free State, the children’s book Breakfast with Bigfoot, and the poetry collection apparitions. Speaker Sam Maranto is a Media Consultant, MUFON Field Investigator for 23 years and State Director for Illinois. As Investigative Researcher he best known for his work on the Tinley Park UFO Mass Sightings of 2004, the O’Hare Gate C17 UAP incident of 2006, and others. Kolbaba, MD, is a doctor of internal medicine in Wheaton, Illinois. After being awarded a degree in economics from Cornell College and serving with the Marine Corps Reserves, he completed his medical degree at the University of Illinois and graduated with honors. Kolbaba interned with Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center and completed his residency at the Mayo Clinic. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, and has appeared multiple times as Top Doctor in Chicago Magazine. Local Chris Fleming has been experiencing paranormal phenomena for over 50 years. He will be speaking about his haunted childhood home in Hoffman Estates, IL and the important, and often overlooked details he has learned about ghosts, apparitions, and consciousness in America and overseas. He will share the communication he had with his father after his death and present some amazing evidence and personal encounters when he was investigating in England and Scotland.
