Event Description:
Keep Woodstock Beautiful is an annual community clean-up day for the
City of Woodstock hosted on Saturday, June 22nd from 8:00am - 12:00pm.
The Woodstock Chamber of Commerce, and the City of Woodstock,
along with community businesses and residents, will organize this
free family-friendly event every year, promoting a clean community.
The morning begins with registration and a continental breakfast at Facets Event Center, 11671 Catalpa Lane, Woodstock, Illinois. After registration, volunteers are given garbage bags, gloves and a location assignment, to venture out into community streets, neighborhoods and parks, to clean up the trash left behind. Participants will receive a community thank you packet, full of neighboring business offers, coupons and more!
We welcome individuals and groups of all kinds – scout troops, church groups, families and more. Businesses are encouraged to gather groups of employees and participate to show community spirit and become motivated in this team-building event.
There is no minimum age for participation; all are welcome, when accompanied by a parent or guardian. This is a “rain or shine” event; please dress appropriately for the weather. It is suggested that you carry your own bottled water to your clean-up destination.
Smaller groups, families and individuals are encouraged to register in advance by emailing keepwoodstockbeautiful.com.
